June 7 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm£5
The Garden of Lambeth Palace has been a private garden since the 12th century, and it is the oldest continuously cultivated garden in London.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, is once again opening it on the first Friday afternoons of the summer months for anyone who wishes to visit, between 12pm and 3pm. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available to purchase, together with plants from the garden, Lambeth Palace honey and souvenirs.
There is no need to book in advance. On this occasion, an entrance fee of £5 will support the Church Urban Fund.
Lambeth Palace is on Lambeth Palace Road, London SE1 7JU.
