Lilia Salsano – piano
One of Argentina’s most outstanding international pianists, Lilia Salsano is a prize-winner at national and international competitions. She frequently performs at prestigious festivals in her country as well as abroad, including the USA, the UK, Europe and South America, a particular highlight being her recital for the Festival Martha Argerich of Buenos Aires.
Salsano is the first Argentine pianist to record the complete piano works of Argentine composer Carlos Guastavino, well-known throughout the world for his songs Se equivocó la paloma and La rosa y el sauce which have been interpreted and recorded by Joan Manuel Serrat, Ana Belén, José Carreras, Kiri Te Kanawa and Anna Netrebko, among others.
